A hairdresser who’s worked with Jennifer Lopez has publicly thanked her for helping out after his Jeep Wrangler burned to a crisp on a Texas highway. The man, Barry Lee Moe, is an award-winning stylist who has worked on multiple TV and movie sets throughout this career.
Do you know these shocking facts about the Bugatti Bolide?
He said he was working on location for three months and decided to drive back in his Jeep, taking the famous Route 66 home to Los Angeles. While traveling near Amarillo, Texas the Wrangler started to smoke, then caught fire and quickly burned.
Not only did Moe lose his ride, he says numerous “treasured personal belongings” as well as much of his tools of trade were consumed by the flames. Looking at the pictures, the guy is lucky he didn’t lose his life, too.
If you’ve ever been traveling cross country when something devastating has happened to your car, you know how this feels. It’s bad enough when you just have to pay out for an expensive repair. Losing your vehicle and a lot of your personal items, including tools of your trade, in one fell swoop is just gut wrenching.
On top of that, Moe says he’s been struggling mental health-wise lately, so having a big setback like this in life was just that much harder. Thankfully, Jennifer Lopez and her team stepped up, helping the man get back to Los Angeles “without question.”
It’s good to have friends who will step in and help out when you face tragedies like this. We have no idea what caused the fire, like a loose fuel line fitting, power steering leak, or an electrical short. But it’s great the guy had Jennfier Lopez to fall back on so he could still make it back home.
