By nature, car repo situations can be volatile. There are a lot of emotions involved, especially if someone has fallen on hard times and is already watching other things in their life circle the drain. Add to that the fact that many times repossession agents showing up can be the first time a spouse hears of financial trouble and things can turn explosive.
Don’t do this if the repo man shows up.
That’s why we’re shocked this Jeep Wrangler repossession doesn’t go worse. The house where the rig is parked seems pretty big and nice in a clean area the repo man calls “richville” or something like that.
How or why the owner of the Wrangler got behind on payments isn’t clear. What we do know is his wife drives the off-roader and she seems rather perplexed that it’s being taken by the repo man. However, not once does she start yelling, screaming, crying, or acting hysterical in any way.
In fact, she stays calm even though it’s clear she’s frustrated by the situation. She just accepts that it is and tries figuring out what can be done. It’s actually rather admirable.
We can’t help but wonder if this is the first indication she has that her husband is in financial trouble. Sometimes spouses hide such things out of the notion they’re protecting the other person or maybe because they’re embarrassed. But sooner or later the chickens come home to roost, like a tow truck taking your Jeep.
Even worse, one of the neighbors keeps driving by in their GMC Yukon Denali. Obviously, they’re trying to see exactly what’s going on even though they probably know very well the Jeep is getting repossessed.
This video, which is 9 years old, is a great reminder why stabilization technology was introduced to GoPros and competing cameras. You’ve been warned: this footage could induce motion sickness.
