YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul loves flashy, fast cars and in that spirit has added a yellow Ferrari SF90 Spider to his growing garage. While most people think of Rosso Corsa automatically when it comes to prancing ponies from Maranello, Paul obviously is in love with yellow.
The of Racing in the Rain teaches a brutal yet beautiful lesson.
Video footage uploaded to Instagram by Paul shows him taking delivery of the brand new SF90 as it rolls off a flatbed into his driveway. He shows himself peeling off the protective film from the dash screens, proving the supercar is in fact fresh from the factory.
He commented on the video that there’s “no better feeling… New SF-90 Spider to match the 296 (sic)” in reference to his Ferrari 296 GTB in the same color, showing the two side by side. Paul showed off the other car last summer, so he must have enjoyed it enough to get another shortly after.
The SF90 Spider is special in part because it’s the first plug-in hybrid supercar out of Maranello. The 4.0-liter V8 engine pairs up with three electric motors all geared for performance, not sipping gas. It features a retractable hardtop design so owners get the enjoyment of a convertible without the drawbacks of wind noise and lack of insulation when the top’s up.
While many are shocked at the nearly $600,000 price tag on this machine, it does push an earth-shattering 986-horsepower from the gasoline-electric powertrain for explosive acceleration. According to Ferrari, this supercar will gallop from 0 to 60 mph in a blindingly fast 2.5 seconds, with many claiming the SF90 is much quicker.
We’re sure Paul will be making some YouTube videos about his latest acquisition, letting viewers vicariously live out their dreams of owning such a machine.
