Dashcam footage of what certainly appears to be Michael B. Jordan’s Ferrari 812 crashing into a parked car has surfaced recently. The footage, if genuine, seems to clear up some of the mystery surrounding the incident that went down at the beginning of December and has been the subject of much speculation since the actor hasn’t addressed it at all.
A car dealer is in big trouble for trying to smuggle a Lexus to a dictator.
In case you missed the crash after it happened on December 2, reports indicate actor Michael B. Jordan was in fact behind the wheel of the Ferrari when it ran into a parked Kia. The force of impact sheared the front passenger wheel of the 812 off but fortunately didn’t result in any injuries.
The big question so many had was how the actor wrecked out while driving in Hollywood? The newly released footage clears up at least some speculation about the celebrity car crash.
In the video, which was shared online by KTLA 5, we can see two Ferraris driving next to each other. The clip is short, so it’s not clear if they were racing or just cruising at the same speed, but Jordan’s Ferrari 812 suddenly swerves to the right, hitting the parked Kia before rolling to a stop.
It’s possible, looking at the video, that Jordan lost control by lifting off the accelerator and hitting the brakes as the Ferrari started getting a little squirrely. Doing that causes a weight transfer from the rear drive tires, something racers know can cause a vehicle that’s already a little out of control to veer dangerously in one direction or another, possibly even spinning out at speed.
We can’t find any reports of Michael B. Jordan being cited for the crash. Instead, reports indicate Los Angeles Police Department investigators are still digging into the matter. What that ultimately means or what’s taking so long appears to be a mystery at this point.
