EXOMOD has unveiled what it calls its most extreme creation to date, a vehicle that pushes the boundaries of the Retromod concept it helped define. Known as PROMETHEUS, the build combines the visual identity of a 1968 Dodge Charger with the engineering foundation of a 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak from the brand’s final “Last Call” run.

Unlike earlier builds rooted in restored classics, PROMETHEUS starts with a brand-new Redeye platform. That modern foundation allowed EXOMOD to move far beyond the factory 807-horsepower output. With the help of Hennessey Performance and its H1000 upgrade package, the supercharged 6.2-liter HELLCAT H/O V8 now produces 1,000 horsepower and 948 lb.-ft. of torque. Supporting upgrades include a tuned 8HP90 TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, stainless long-tube headers, high-flow sport catalytic converters, and a custom active exhaust system.
While the powertrain numbers are staggering, the most defining element of PROMETHEUS is its body. The car marks EXOMOD’s first full exterior constructed from 4×4 Hypercar-Weave C68 carbon fiber, a material typically reserved for ultra-low-production European hypercars. The carbon structure is left visible beneath a Transparent Kandy Apple Red finish, turning the weave itself into a central design feature rather than something hidden under paint.
EXOMOD retained its core philosophy throughout the build by preserving all modern safety systems and technology from the donor car. Airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control, navigation, infotainment, and backup cameras remain fully functional. According to the company, more than 2,200 hours were invested in creating the bespoke carbon-fiber body and integrated exoskeleton.

Additional details include carbon-fiber aerodynamic components, Black Earth painted exterior accents, Forgeline GT3 wheels in a Black Pearl finish, and red Brembo brakes with 15.70-inch slotted rotors. Inside, the cabin features a custom Havana and Chocolate leather interior with Old Gold diamond stitching.
EXOMOD created the Retromod category to overcome the limitations of aging mechanical platforms. PROMETHEUS represents the most ambitious realization of that idea yet, pairing classic American muscle car design with the performance, reliability, and safety of a modern supercharged Mopar platform.
