We’ve seen some weird builds, but this 1975 Chevy/GMC dual-cab truck would make even us look twice if we saw it on the road. The owner, who lives in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts says plenty of people stare as he drives by as well as take photos, which is understandable. You don’t drive a truck like this and expect to just blend in.

The guy obviously leans into the attention and has fun with it, which is probably why he agreed to be profiled by local news station WCVB. He says he welded the two truck cabs together but is constantly asked by people if he can drive it either way. The answer is no because only one hood has an engine underneath.
You’ll also note it’s easy to tell which is the rear cab because the headlights are red LED taillights donated from a school bus. How the many figured out those would be the perfect size is a story we’d love to hear.
Plus, you can see he has a vanity plate reading “WHTTHE” on the truck, or in other words “what the” which we think people exclaim a lot when seeing this ride.
Traveling on the highway has to be a lot of fun for some riding behind him. After all, can you imagine being on a road trip, taking a nap as a passenger, then waking up to see a truck cab pointed right at your car? We wonder how many people he’s unintentionally terrified throughout the years.
But the guy says the best part is seeing people smile and give him a thumbs up as he’s driving. Not only does he take the double-cab truck out cruising, he goes to car shows and meets where it’s always a big hit.
