Daily Driven LaFerrari Gets Detailed

Daily driving something like a LaFerrari might sound insane to some, but the person who owns the one getting professionally detailed in this video does just that. Many of these hybrid supercars are barely driven, spending most of their time in a temperature controlled garage or storage facility, some even kept in a preservation bubble.

But this owner purchased the Ferrari to experience it every day. We have to respect that since in our opinion cars were made to be driven, not parked and looked at like they’re some sort of sculpture. Some want to keep their ride pristine because it’s simply an investment and nothing more.

Driving any vehicle every day means increased wear and tear. That doesn’t just involve the tires, brakes, engine, and other mechanicals but also aesthetic features like the paint, trim, etc. This professional detail focuses on addressing just that.

From the beginning, the LaFerrari owner had paint protection film installed by a professional – a smart move that helped save some damage. However, it was only applied to certain parts of the exterior. After cleaning and correcting the paint, this detailer installs more PPF to guard his work against scratches, swirls, chips, etc.

The clear coat on exposed carbon fiber trim pieces as well as the lenses for the headlights and markers also get cleaned up. After all, those experience wear when the Ferrari is driven every day.

When it comes to the interior, the carbon fiber trim pieces get the same treatment as on the exterior. While they’re not sitting exposed to the elements, UV rays, oils from skin, and other things cloud the finish over time.

Dry ice cleaning helps with the seats and dash, as does some good cleaner along with a soft brush. The results, both inside and out, are breathtaking.

Now the owner can continue to enjoy his LaFerrari each day, knowing that with extra PPF it will keep looking great for the long haul.
