In case you aren’t aware, three-wheelers used to be all the rage. However, enough Karens clutched their pearls and declared the ATVs to be horribly unsafe, especially for kids, pressuring government regulators to do something. That’s when a Consent Decree Act led to the end of new three-wheeler sales in this country.
That’s why these days you can’t walk into a Honda dealership and buy the modern version of this ATC 110. Thank you, Karens of America. But you can bid on this one and hopefully get it for what you consider a reasonable price.
According to the lot listing, this thing was lovingly cherished by the original owner until 2018. A second owner had it until recently and now a dealer is offloading the thing, probably because it’s full of murderous rage. Also, to make a profit.
As the model number hints, power comes from an air-cooled 105cc SOHC single-cylinder engine with an automatic clutch. That’s all bolted up to a four-speed, dual-range transmission for plenty of all-terrain fun.
Just remember, three-wheelers are unstable, as are dirt bikes and honestly so are four-wheelers. But these things have a reputation that honestly in a way makes them more entertaining.
This particular ATC 110 looks pretty clean with the paint and graphics showing little wear. Plus, a pair or skis to swap out with the front wheel for wintertime fun is included. That alone should be reason to give this thing some serious thought. Just don’t wait too long.
