We ran across this interesting vehicle listed on Facebook Marketplace in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and though everyone else might appreciate it. We bet some readers are looking for something like this.
Powered by a Navistar DT466 inline-six diesel engine, this truck has plenty of low-end grunt power to get through big snow drifts with the plow. Surprisingly, it’s not four-wheel drive but instead is a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, but chains for the outer tires are included to help with traction in the slippery stuff.
Also included is a 10-speed transmission, Dayton rear air locker, air ride suspension, air brakes, and an air ride cabin so it’s a smoother experience in this thing than you might expect. Plus, the bed has a nice tall shell on it so whatever you throw back there is protected from the elements.
The interior isn’t exactly luxurious but it’s also not entirely Spartan like what you’d get in a lot of heavy-duty trucks similar to this. The backseat has a ton of legroom and there are two locking tool cabinets under the bench seat, so you have plenty of storage for whatever you need to take along.
What’s even better is that the listing mentions you don’t need a commercial drivers license to use this truck. Still, some people might find this thing a little too large to handle, especially in tight spaces.
