The Toyota Supra MKV is on its way out and to celebrate, a Final Edition has been revealed for the US market. It brings dialed-up performance as well as an aggressive look, but not everyone is satisfied with the results.
You’ll never believe what happened to the Supra from the Fast and Furious movies.
When the MKV Supra was finally revealed, the anticipation was palpable. However, some hopes were dashed when it was revealed the sports car had been developed in collaboration with BMW. Some enthusiasts have since bitterly dismissed it as “just a Bimmer,” so they’re probably not sad to see it go.
For those who are, there might be hope to scoop a Supra Final Edition. It offers up the best performance yet for the MKV with 382-horspower, improved suspension, brakes, aerodynamics, structural rigidity – you name it.

The Final Edition should be the ultimate track toy out of all the MKV Supras.
Plus, the look of this swan song model sets it apart from the rest. Buyers can opt for the gloss-finish ducktail spoiler, gloss carbon-fiber side mirror caps, and 19-inch matte black wheels.
Or they can go with a GT4 style pack which features side graphics, matte-finish carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler, red mirror caps, and a matte-black rear Supra badge to really make a statement.
Where the disappointment comes into play is in the power and a few other accessories reserved for the A90 Final Edition bound for Europe and Japan. That sees a bump to 429-hp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque, plus it gets a swan-neck rear wing, the KW suspension from the GT4 Supra, carbon-fiber seats, and a vented hood.
Why doesn’t the US get the A90 Final Edition? It’s a great question we don’t have an answer to.
Here’s another one we can’t answer: is another generation of the Supra coming? And if so, will it be co-developed with BMW again?
