We recently ran across this built 1974 Jeep Gladiator truck listed for sale and thought it was interesting enough. While from experience we know sometimes buying custom-built cars from private individuals can involve inheriting some unforeseen consequences, this Jeep might be a sweet ride for the right person.
Learn about the ridiculous Thor 24 semi-truck.
The guy who owns this rig has put a lot of work into it. The exterior looks great with a nice orange paint job, 8-inch lift, 38-inch Mickey Thompson MTZ Mud Tires, aftermarket steel bumpers, Fox shocks, chase rack, and more.

In the bed is a mount for the spare tire, so that’s out of the way of trail obstacles, if you dare take this beautiful machine out into the wild. Plus, there are two jump seats right behind the cab.
When it comes to the interior, it’s also been reworked quite a bit. There’s black and quilted white leather upholstery on the seats and doors, plus a center console with cupholders has been added. You’ll also notice a CB radio, which is great for when you get out on the trail away from civilization.
But one of the biggest modifications sits under the hood. There you find a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 which should boost reliability and provides plenty of power for the pickup. We’re unsure what transmission is installed, but the listing says the front axle is a Dana 60 with 4.56 gears.

If we were going to get really serious about this truck, we’d have a lot of questions for the seller and it seems like he’s willing to answer any you have. Plus, with an asking price of $62,000 we’d just want to make sure everything is buttoned up correctly.
Assuming everything about this Jeep Gladiator is good, this could be a really cool truck to own.
