A 1988 Chevrolet one-ton “Squarebody” pickup showing just 55 miles on the odometer sold for $100,000 at a GAA Classic Cars auction event. The truck remains in largely factory-original condition, with protective plastic still covering portions of the interior. According to the listing, the vehicle was never dealer-prepped, contributing to its unusually preserved state.

The sale was first noted by Truck Rodeo. The pickup is equipped with four-wheel drive and powered by a 454-cubic-inch V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Unlike earlier models that used carburetors, this truck features factory throttle body fuel injection, which General Motors introduced in 1987. While configured as a one-ton work truck, it was ordered with several comfort options, including air conditioning, power windows, and cruise control.

Finished in Doeskin Tan with a Saddle interior, the truck retains its original window sticker. Listed options include a comfort tilt steering wheel, AM/FM stereo with cassette deck, and intermittent windshield wipers. Brown seatbelts match the interior color scheme. Dual fuel tanks are also equipped, and the truck features a 4.56 rear axle ratio. The bed remains free of visible wear and does not include a gooseneck hitch.
The windshield still displays paint markings identifying it as a “Super Dooley” closeout special. The truck was originally sold at Greenwood Chevrolet in Fort Meade, Florida, and still carries the dealer’s name on both the front plate and tailgate.

The six-figure sale highlights continued demand for preserved, low-mileage examples of late-1980s Chevrolet heavy-duty pickups. The truck was sold at auction, and ownership has transferred to the winning bidder.
