Vince McMahon-Crash Video
Connecticut State Police released body camera footage showing Vince McMahon driving over 100 mph before crashing his Bentley Continental GT Speed on July 24, 2025, on Route 15 near Exit 15 in Westport. Authorities said McMahon swerved into another lane, struck a BMW, hit a guardrail and totaled his vehicle. No serious injuries were reported.
Police said a state trooper attempted to catch up to McMahon after observing his speed climb to nearly 115 mph. Video shows McMahon braking behind a BMW before abruptly moving left, where his Bentley made contact with the guardrail and rear-ended the vehicle ahead. Debris scattered across the highway as the Bentley came to rest on the shoulder, smoking from the impact. The airbag deployed and a window was shattered. McMahon told the trooper he was on his way to his granddaughter’s birthday and denied attempting to flee. He stated he had not driven in a long time and acknowledged the vehicle’s speed. McMahon declined medical attention at the scene.
Authorities charged the 80-year-old with misdemeanor reckless driving and following too closely resulting in an accident. Police said the driver of the BMW, identified as Barbara Doran, was not seriously injured. McMahon was later seen on the roadside apologizing to her. In a social media post that was later deleted, Doran stated she managed to maintain partial control of her vehicle after being forced off the road and indicated the outcome could have been worse had the collision occurred differently.
In October, a judge granted McMahon entry into a pretrial program. Court conditions require a $1,000 donation and proof of proper licensing and insurance. If those conditions are met, the charges will be dismissed. The case remains under court supervision pending completion of the agreement.
