A low-mileage 2003 Ferrari Enzo is set to headline RM Sotheby’s Arizona auction on January 23, carrying a pre-sale estimate of $5 million to $6 million and underscoring the enduring market strength of Ferrari’s most historically symbolic supercar.
Introduced in 2002 at the Paris Motor Show, the Ferrari Enzo was conceived as a direct tribute to company founder Enzo Ferrari. Production was limited to 498 examples worldwide, making it one of the most exclusive modern Ferraris ever built. The model was designed to reflect Ferrari’s Formula 1 dominance of the era, blending racing technology with a road-legal platform in a way few production cars had achieved at the time.

The Enzo’s development was closely tied to Ferrari’s Formula 1 program, incorporating lessons learned from years of championship success. The car features a lightweight composite monocoque constructed from carbon fiber and Nomex honeycomb materials, paired with a carbon-fiber and Kevlar body designed by Pininfarina. Dry weight is listed at approximately 2,767 pounds.
Power comes from a 5,998 cc naturally aspirated V-12 engine set at a 65-degree angle, producing 660 horsepower and nearly 485 foot-pounds of torque. That output is managed by an electro-hydraulic six-speed automated manual transmission. Performance figures include a zero-to-62-mph time of 3.65 seconds and a top speed exceeding 217 mph. Stopping power is provided by 15-inch Brembo carbon-ceramic disc brakes mounted behind 19-inch alloy wheels.
The example offered in Arizona is chassis No. 128797, one of just 111 Enzos originally designated for the U.S. market. Its first two owners were based in Florida, while the current owner acquired the car in 2009 and later relocated it to Texas. Since that time, the consignor has added only 317 miles.

The car shows a total of just 746 miles and has been largely stored, with recent care handled by Ferrari Newport Beach in Southern California. RM Sotheby’s notes it as one of the least-driven Enzo examples likely to appear on the market.
Recent auction results provide context for the estimate. RM Sotheby’s sold an Enzo for $4.075 million during Monterey Car Week in 2023, while examples offered in Paris and Miami in 2024 did not meet reserve. This Arizona car also includes three pieces of matching Enzo luggage, adding to its appeal as it heads toward the auction block.
