For anyone interested in owning a unique movie car, this modified 1970 Chevy El Camino from Zombie Killer is auctioning online right now. We know it’s perhaps not from one of the greatest films ever created, and you might not have even seen the movie, but the build itself is pretty cool.

After all, we fully admit to not even being aware that a film called Zombie Killer existed until about now. We have no idea what the plot is nor do we really care, but this El Camino used in the production is a pretty interesting build we think is worthwhile considering.

Apparently the red and green exterior is supposed to be Christmas-themed, with “St. Nick’s Tree Farm” logos on the doors. More importantly, the El Camino features two wooden sleds attached to the front bumper, plus the vehicle is lifted, rides on big tires mounted on beadlock wheels, has a hood cutout for the scoop and wrapped headers, plus the bed features a fuel cell and battery box.
You’ll also note the lack of rear glass with the roll cage coming through the bare opening, ending in the payload. This is a serious build.

The 383ci V8 has been modified to produce a claimed 500-horsepower, plus has been fitted with dual Edelbrock carbs and chrome valve covers. An aluminum radiator and dual electric fans help keep it running reliably.
Backing the engine is a Tubo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, which sends power solely to the rear axle. The front axle does have a differential, but the half-shaft has been removed, so that’s something you could change relatively easily.

For the interior there’s a Joe’s Racing drilled steering wheel, B&M shifter with skull knob, custom dash with AutoMeter gauges, infotainment screen which displays the front and rear camera feeds,
Bidding for this vehicle ends in just three days. According to the seller’s listing on Bring A Trailer, the 1970 Chevy El Camino is being sold with a current Maryland title. You can check out the lot listing for yourself here.
