The son of wrestling legend Mr. Wonderful, Paul Orndorff II, was arrested after a car chase with police in Peachtree City, Georgia. It was hardly the first time the man has been in trouble with the law and his brother has a lot to say about the latest incident.
Reality TV star dies tragically in car crash.
Paul Orndorff III, who is a convicted felon, was behind the wheel of a newer Lincoln Continental on the afternoon of May 29 when police tried pulling him over. He was wanted on several charges, plus officers knew he might be in possession of some stolen guns, reports Fox 5.
Instead of just pulling over, he led police on a high-speed chase which ended with one of the officers pitting out the Lincoln sedan. Orndorff tried driving out of the PIT maneuver but was hit again by the lead pursuing officer, then pinned in as backup arrived.
Just like in a very similar incident from 2019, the son of Mr. Wonderful decided to stay inside the car and was reaching around inside, trying to find a gun he had stashed. A K9 was sent into the Continental to convince Orndorff to get out, which it did by chomping on his arm and dragging him through the door.
After arresting the man, police found meth and located a handgun in the Lincoln’s glovebox.
In 2019, Orndorff led police in Peachtree City on a chase while in a Chrysler Crossfire before it was pitted out, then he refused to exit the vehicle until a K9 dragged him out. We guess some people never learn.
His brother, Travis Orndorff, posted a long message about the incident to Instagram under his father’s fan account. In it, he thanks police for stopping his brother from harming anyone else, saying the incident will help his brother get the treatment he begged him to seek.
We sincerely hope there’s a happy ending to this story, because when family members consistently make poor choices, it affects everyone who loves them.
