If you’re looking for a fun track toy which could possibly be driven on public roads, this 2013 Radical SR3 might be worth considering. The big claim Radical Motorsport, the maker of the SR3, makes is that the simple little car can outrun far more expensive track toys, providing an incredible value.
You could race on the track with this 1966 Ford Mustang instead.
This particular SR3 is outfitted with the brake and aero packages for extra performance. It also comes with the 1500cc four-cylinder racing engine, the larger and more powerful of the two factory options. That means you can really drop the hammer coming out of turns and blasting down straightaways.
You don’t just get in and casually drive one of these SR3s. This is the kind of car that demands your full attention, that will bite you if you get overly relaxed. But if you’re fully engaged, it will help newbies learn how to drive a racecar and will challenge veterans enough to keep them entertained.
Included with the sale are air jacks, perfect for maintenance or tire changes. Speaking of that, the seller is also including three sets of wheels plus a new set of rain tires, so you’re ready to roll. He’s also throwing in a number of parts, allowing you address breakages as you push the envelope in this fun little toy. Having all that on hand can be quite helpful.
The seller believes this not only is the sole carbon-fiber SR3 on the East Coast but possibly in the entire US. If not, it’s one of only a handful and likely is the only one available to purchase now.
With that kind of rarity comes a steeper price, which might be why the seller is asking for $75,000 for this ride. Is that too much?
