We look at so many car ads everyday that they all can start blending together sometimes, except this one for a New Edge Mustang. The 2003 model year pony car has a lead image in its listing of it upside down in a creek, a truly memorable sight that makes it stick out from the rest.
You’re probably going to like this Mustang build more.
While that’s great for getting your attention, it also means the 2003 Ford Mustang isn’t exactly in great shape. Right away from the pictures you can see significant damage to quite a few body panels, including the roof, fenders, and doors.
Unfortunately, the photos don’t show every side and angle of the car – we’re not sure if that’s just the usual thing where regular people aren’t quite sure how to photograph their rides well or something else. We’ll just give the guy a benefit of a doubt, but we’d want to see a lot more pictures before really talking turkey.
At least the asking price for the New Edge Mustang is basement bargain, which is to be expected considering. The seller has it listed for $1,500. Maybe someone will want to bring it back from the dead with an engine swap, because the factory V6 is apparently “shot.”
There’s some good news: no Mustang GTs were harmed in this accident. We hope no people were, either. But at this point the car is probably going to either be good for parts or some redneck build where a guy drops an LS in it and hoons the thing around for his YouTube channel.
Would you go for this V6 Mustang that’s seen better days? If so, what would you do with it? What kind of motor would you drop into the crinkled body? Or would you just part it and call it a day?
