While we don’t have a particular fondness for most police cruisers, because they honestly aren’t all that fast, this 2013 Chevy Caprice PPV listed on a popular auction site definitely caught our attention. Built as a four-door muscle car by GM’s Australian brand Holden, it brings the goods with a juicy V8 and more.

Wearing Phantom Black Metallic and steel wheels, this sedan sure looks sinister. While your average person might not think too highly of this car, what they don’t know is there’s a 6.0-liter L77 V8 under the hood, supplying a nice 355-horsepower and 384 lb.-ft. of torque. We know those aren’t earth-shattering figures, but for a police car they’re solid and you can have plenty of fun with that.
Plus, if you get this at a good price you might have cash left over for mods. Just think what a nice blower or maybe even some internal tweaks to the engine could do.
Speaking of fun, there are dual spotlights still mounted to this ride as well as the emergency lights. Just don’t use those anywhere it would be illegal in your state, and if you’re unsure where that might be, consult with an attorney.
Being a pursuit-rated vehicle, this Caprice has the upgraded suspension designed to roll over curbs and such, so it should handle well enough for a lot of diversion.
The interior looks to be in good shape with vinyl and cloth seats, dual-zone climate control, vinyl flooring, a infotainment touchscreen, and two whole speakers for the sound system (we would upgrade that early on).
Listed on Bring A Trailer, this Chevy has a mere 62,000 miles on the odometer, so no wonder it looks to be in great shape.
Fortunately, the online auction for this Caprice goes for another 6 days. The current top bid is just $4,000 but that will increase quite a bit as time marches on. The big question is how high would you go for this beast?
