We’re admittedly not big fans of snakes, so this story about an Australian woman feeling a rather infamous venomous type slithering up her leg while she was driving on the freeway gives us the willies. That’s exactly the sort of thing which would make most people crash, then they’d probably get bitten anyway.
A couple in Arizona found a rattlesnake in their backseat.
According to the Australian Museum, tiger snakes not only have a distinct appearance most Australians recognize, they’re quite venomous. In other words, the woman probably knew she was in extreme danger, yet she somehow kept her cool.
This happened recently on the Monash freeway in Melbourne. After pulling over and safely getting out of the car, the woman called police, who wisely called a snake removal service.
The guy who pulled this highly venomous snake out of the vehicle by the tail told Today he believes it sought refuge inside the car thanks to the particularly wet weather the area has been experiencing lately. He said there are many ways for snakes to get into an interior, which anyone who’s done a lot of work on their ride would know is true.
We guess normies think their car interior is some sort of hermetically sealed chamber nothing can get into once you close the doors and windows. That’s how rattlesnakes and other creatures have been found inside vehicles here in the US and probably in every country around the globe.
Staying calm, not making any sudden moves, then pulling over and getting out of the car was absolutely the right way to handle this situation. After all, there’s no telling what the snake might have done in a crash or what the outcome of such a collision in the freeway might have been. Although the snake handler did say if bitten by a tiger snake, as long as you keep calm you have “a bit of time” to seek medical attention, but we think most people would panic at that point.
