Unhinged is about the only way we could describe the alleged actions of a 21-year-old woman in Tacoma, Washington over the Easter weekend. She attacked a man in her apartment with an ax, stole his car, stabbed an Uber driver, stole his car, then hid from police in a garbage can.
Road rage video has shocked New Yorkers.
Nobody normal behaves like this and we think had it been a man there would be far more outrage.
According to King 5, the woman who now is in jail hit the man who was in the apartment in the head with the ax while he was on the phone with 911. The man called to report the woman was stealing his car.
Why she took the guy’s ride or assaulted him wasn’t clear.
What we do know is this unhinged chick then drove to downtown Tacoma, ditched the stolen car, and hailed an Uber.
While police were processing the first stolen car, the young woman pulled out some sort of sharp instrument and stabbed the Uber driver several times in the chest and arms, then carjacked him. A Good Samaritan thankfully was there to help stop the bleeding.
In the meantime, the woman drove to the south end of the city, ditched the Uber driver’s car, and tried hiding in someone’s backyard inside their trash can. In a way that was appropriate considering all she’d done to two men who by all accounts hadn’t assaulted her.
The ax attack victim reportedly suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive. We hope he’s not permanently disabled from the assault.
One person who lives in the neighborhood where the woman was caught said of the ordeal, “mental health is a big deal.” We wonder if a man had hit a woman in the head with an ax, stolen her car, stabbed a female Uber driver several times, then stole her car would cause people to talk about his mental health instead of just showing disgust for the violent acts.
Funny how that works.
