The brand new Lamborghini Revuelto is so fresh most enthusiasts are still learning about the hybrid supercar. But Underground Racing has wasted no time, already fitting one with a twin-turbo setup, pushing the new powertrain to new levels through forced induction.

The US tuner used billet wheel Precision turbos paired with a JRR M1 engine management system to extract more power out of the 6.5-liter V12 engine, which works in concert with an electric powertrain.
From the factory, combined system output is impressive at just over 1,000-hp. But the V12 alone flexes its muscles at 813-hp at a lofty 9,250 rpm and 535 lb.-ft. of torque. On the other side are three electric motors, two for the front axle and one integrated into the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
With the twin-turbo setup developed by Underground Racing, total system output rises to an earth-shattering 2,000-hp. Remember, this is purely a bolt-on application. No engine internals have been modified by the tuning shop. Apparently, Underground is working on upgraded the engine with expectations of far more power. We wonder if 3,000-hp or more might be the result.
It used to be those types of power figures with bolt-on modifications were unthinkable. Thinking about what Underground Racing might be able to accomplish with the Lamborghini Revuelto given more time and tinkering is even more exciting.
While some have been unsure about the newest Lambo to enter the arena, we think this raging bull shows an incredible amount of promise both in stock form and when tuned. What gets us is how many have forgotten about the Holy Trinity of hypercars, all of them hybrids, and how electric powertrains paired with a potent internal combustion engine can result in all kinds of goodness.
We’re sure other tuning shops will have their own takes on the Revuelto as well, and it will be interesting to examine those other approaches. But for now Underground Racing has shown the newest Lambo is quite the fun toy to play with.
