We’ve seen some bad modification jobs, but this thing that’s apparently a Toyota Celica is the equivalent of Joan Rivers’ face in automotive form. Nothing about it seems real and the whole thing is so off-putting it makes us want to vomit.
Someone is selling their Tesla Model 3 with scissor doors.
First of all, when you look at the different photos of this… thing, you see the weird body kit uses design elements from a smorgasbord of more interesting rides like the Ford GT, Nissan GT-R, and Bugatti Chiron.
It’s like this poor little Toyota is suffering a severe identity crisis. Who would do such a thing to an innocent coupe? Was it being a Celica just not good enough for the owner? We’re actually fans of the T200 or sixth-gen of the car, which depending on the model had some really cool styling and decent performance, although it was overshadowed by the MKIV Supra.

We’re assuming mechanically the powertrain is completely stock or at the most is lightly modified, although the listing out of Morocco doesn’t get into such frivolity. About all we do know is this car has about 23,000 miles on the odometer (37,500 km) and it comes with a manual transmission.
For some weird reason, the car is outfitted with pop-up headlights. We’re fans of those, but the T200 didn’t come with them, so someone added pop-ups while doing all these crazy body modifications. That’s an interesting move.
Overall, the design of this modified Celica is overly busy, like someone wanted to do too many things, and instead of just settling on a single direction, tried doing it all. Because of that, this car looks like a giant mess. There’s zero design cohesion.
But would you buy it? We know we wouldn’t, but maybe someone would.
See this Celica’s listing for yourself here.
