At a time when there are plenty of stories about imploding demand for Teslas, seeing this Model 3 listed for sale with scissor doors is really something. After all, the zany modification might be enough to enthrall the right person in to paying for ownership of this electric car.
Military truck crashes off the highway onto a surface street.
If that sounds dumb to you, well it might be, but when dealing with the public stuff like that absolutely can work. We don’t know if the owner of this Tesla did the modification to the doors in preparation to sell or if this was something they did to enjoy themselves, but we’re hoping for the latter.

While this might help the Model 3 stand out and sell in a competitive marketplace, we doubt anyone is going to pay extra for scissor doors on a Tesla. We could be wrong, but we know a lot of mods don’t actually enhance market value on cars, despite what some people think.
The seller alludes to other modifications on this Model 3, but we’re not quite sure what else has been done to it. And we didn’t want to ask since we personally know what it’s like to be hit with a barrage of people asking questions without being even a little serious about buying what you’re selling.
We do know from the picture of this Tesla’s touchscreen all booted up it’s a Model 3 Long Range with over 118,000 miles on it. Also shown is that it’s a Full Self Driving car with Autopilot. But it doesn’t appear to have a wrap, special wheels, or any other apparent modifications done to it.

And while you can get scissor door conversion kits for all kinds of cars, we don’t think a lot of Tesla owners or people shopping for them are the get their hands dirty turning a wrench types. So one of them might see this, think it’s cool, and go for it. Maybe that person is you?
