If you have the cash, you can buy this Goat Atlas APC tactical truck for just under $400,000. Why someone might want to buy such a thing is an excellent question anyone who has the money only needs answer to themselves and nobody else. After all, the armored truck is legal for civilians to own, even if some are offended by that fact.
See what Arctic Trucks has done with the new Land Cruiser.
After all, Goat Tactical builds these using a new Ford F-550 Super Duty Cew Cab, including keeping the factory chassis. That means it’s registered as the Ford truck, not as an Atlas APC since what you see are all aftermarket modifications.

For that rather steep price, you’re not getting a used truck but instead a new Atlas APC built to your specifications. Standard is B6 ballistic rating armor, although B7 is also available. You can also pick the color, either going with personal preference or what blends in with the environment where you live.
In standard configuration, three people can sit in the front of this tactical truck. An additional six people in full gear can sit in the rear, which is pretty bare bones with just two padded benches. There appear to be firing ports for each seating position in the back. This is a hardcore vehicle.
You can choose other seating configurations for your truck, including super plus executive chairs in the back facing each other, allowing you to use it as you see fit. We imagine some owners will use this armored vehicle for VIP transport or to run security detail, among other things.

Since this is supposed to be a civilian spec truck, we don’t expect it would be used by a military, even though it has that look. But we can see it as a plaything for a bored rich guy. There are far worse things to do with your money.
