Breakups are tough, but when money is involved in the split things can get contentious fast. Rapper Soulja Boy is living just that scenario right now as his ex-girlfriend reportedly has asked the court to seize is car collection, home, and other property.
Pete Davidson just keeps crashing cars.
That might sound dramatic, especially considering the impressive garage Soulja Boy maintains, but reports indicate the rap star allegedly hasn’t paid Kayla Myers $472,000 as ordered by the court, says The Jasmine Brand. That order stems from an incident in 2019 when he allegedly pistol whipped her at a house party.
We don’t know all the cars Soulja Boy owns, but for some time now his social media accounts have focused largely on showing off the many Lamborghinis, Mercedes, Rolls-Royces, and other exotic/ultra-luxury rides the man apparently owns. Either that or he’s renting some gaudy, custom vehicles for photo sessions while pushing a Toyota Camry down the road on the daily.
If even most of those vehicles are his rides, then Soulja Boy’s car collection should be worth well in excess of $472,000 even if some would be de-valued on the open market thanks to the rather… interesting modification choices.
It might seem heavy-handed to seize all the rapper owns just because he’s not paying a bill, but the court might agree it’s the only way to make him relent and cough up the cash.
This just shows how winning a judgment in court doesn’t always mean collecting from the other party is easy. The report doesn’t indicate if Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, is fighting the judgment and that’s why he’s allegedly holding out. But we’re pretty sure he has access to that kind of cash.
