Someone Is Selling OJ Simpson’s Infamous Ford Bronco

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 30 years, you know the infamous white Ford Bronco OJ Simpson used to lead Los Angeles police on a low-speed pursuit. It was a bizarre moment in history punctuated by a trial which was just as zany. But now that the Juice is dead, the owners of his old Bronco are looking to cash in.

Former Seattle Seahawks player caught driving a stolen Ram TRX.

Arguably, interest in OJ Simpson and thus his Ford Bronco is perhaps at an all-time high. As his death fades into the background as we progress through what promises to be quite the turbulent year, the value of the vehicle might also fade. So we can’t fault the current owners’ timing.

According to a report from CLLCT, three people currently share ownership of the Bronco: Simpon’s former agent Michael Gilbert, plus two friends of the original owner, Al Cowlings. All three apparently agree it’s time to strike while the iron’s hot.

But if you think you’re going to get some screaming deal on the Bronco, well think again. The owners told CLLCT the last offer they entertained was for $750,000. They obviously passed on that and now want a cool $1.5 million.

It might even go for more. Some people are collectors of the macabre.

Currently, the white 1993 Ford Bronco resides at the Alcatraz East Crime Museum located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It’s been a permanent resident since 2016. The new owner could decide to keep in on public display or drive slowly down the freeway in Los Angeles.

Some enterprising new owner might even figure out some way to further monetize ownership of OJ’s Bronco. While the museum where it sits pays a fee to keep it there, we imagine there are many who want to see the infamous off-roader in person who can’t make it to Pigeon Forge.
