NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is well-known as a car guy, but he doesn’t just drive regular rides. The big man loves his vehicles to be customized. And considering not too long ago he declared he was getting a Tesla Cybertruck, it was only a matter of time before he showed up with one sporting some custom touches. That time is now.

Posted to Shaq’s Instagram account are several images of him and his new Cybertruck, which naturally features red accent lighting and underglows like many of his other rides. That goes perfectly with a more sinister-looking gloss black wrap and carbon-fiber fender flares, which look great with the 26-inch black Forgiato wheels with off-road tires.
Even among Cybertrucks, Shaq’s is a standout. Images of it have spread far and wide, with Elon Musk commenting “nice” after someone posted one on X, formerly known as Twitter. Celebrity endorsements like this are solid gold to the CEO of Tesla since it’s essentially free advertising.
This all-black Cybertruck is actually the second in Shaq’s collection. He bought this one to keep at his house in Atlanta, the first one residing at his house in Las Vegas.
Some believe this is the first widebody Cybertruck and they might be right. With so many owners of Tesla’s first and only pickup doing all kinds of wild cosmetic modifications to their rides, it’s hard to keep track at this point. It seems many feel the stainless steel body is the perfect blank slate for them to express themselves in wildly different ways.
For now it appears the interior of Shaq’s sinister Cybertruck has been kept stock. But we’re willing to bet the man already has some ideas to upgrade and further change that part of his Tesla in the coming months.
