It’s no secret Shaq is a big car guy with a huge collection, but people are shocked to learn the ex-NBA star is unloading ten rides. We’re honestly not since collectors will often sell off vehicles periodically for tax reasons and to make room for new acquisitions as their tastes and goals shift.
Learn why Shaq says he treats his cars like girlfriends.
While on The Big Podcast recently, Shaq just casually mentioned he’s selling off the ten cars, one of them we’ve already spotted in the wild. He also dropped another shocking revelation: at one time he forgot he even owned some of them.
But Shaq also forgot he bought two Cadillac Escalade IQ and had them customized by Effortless Motors. When the customization shop showed up at one of his houses to deliver the first of the two all-electric luxury SUVs, the big man tried arguing that he didn’t buy the Caddie and wouldn’t fit inside.
In other words, Shaq has so many vehicles, he can’t keep track of them all. During the podcast, he disclosed he owns over 40 custom cars, a number which floored many in the audience. We think he owns many more than that, to be honest, not to mention a while fleet of supercars that aren’t customized and he can’t fit inside.
Shaq went on to say that among his collection are nine Dodge Hellcats, some of which he forgot he even owned. Those are apparently among the rides he’s unloading, with one already being auctioned off publicly.
It sounds like at least one of the three Rolls-Royces the former Los Angeles Lakers star purchased on a whim is also being sold off. We don’t know what model it is, but we’d be willing to bet it isn’t the one Shaq customized with Superman logos – that one he’s likely keeping over the others.
Don’t worry, Shaq keeps buying vehicles like most people purchase shirts. He owns at least three Tesla Cybertrucks, a Ram TRX customized by Apocalypse, and many other wild rides.
