Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton has finally donned the famous red Ferrari suit and gotten behind the wheel of one of the team’s racecars. Now that was saw the man visit Scuderia Ferrari HP headquarters in Maranello wearing a suit, the driver and team have released images and video of him putting on a uniform and taking an F1 car for a spin at the track.

Hamilton wasn’t able to take the yet-to-be-revealed 2025 Scuderia Ferrari F1 car for a spin, instead driving a Ferrari F1-75, which was used by the team for the 2022 season. The man obviously has experience racing against the car, but this was the first time he’s actually been behind the wheel.

It’s also the first time Lewis Hamilton has been photographed wearing anything Scuderia Ferrari. As the team said on its social media accounts, Hamilton looks good in red. He also donned a yellow Ferrari race helmet, completing the striking transformation.
Anticipation is running high about what Hamilton will be able to achieve with the legendary F1 team. While the man has racked up seven world championships, age isn’t on his side. However, he doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of slowing down, so he might set a new record in the motorsport, then break it again.
For his part, Hamilton has expressed joy at being able to drive for Scuderia Ferrari HP, switching from Mercedes. He says the move will help with the “reinvention” of his racing career as he continues pushing himself to loftier heights.
Ultimately what will matter the most is results, so the pressure is on at the start of the 2025 season. Hamilton is used to his competitors gunning for him and some F1 fans cheering for his potential failure, so we expect he will keep doing as he’s done and rack up the podium finishes.
