For many Mustang faithful, and even some more casual Ford fans, the Shelby and Boss lines are special. Those who are lucky enough to own one of the classic pony cars often get plenty of admiration when they go out and about, but this collection of eight models is enough to make people drool.
1964 Ford Galaxie come with a Shelby big block.
Called the Pender Collection, the YouTube channel Nate’s Classic Cars claims a young kid named Anderson, who isn’t even 16 yet, owns them all. Exactly how that’s possible is clear, plus it could just be a tongue-in-cheek joke, but that’s the claim made.
Whoever the owner is, Anderson or his dad or someone else, there’s no denying the Shelby and Boss cars are impressive. Equally extraordinary is the fact Anderson at such a young age seems quite knowledgeable about each classic.
For example, with the ’67 Shelby GT500 he correctly points out some rarities included on the muscle car. It came with air conditioning from the factory, something few did back then. It also has a four-speed transmission. But the real oddball thing is it’s a factory California emissions compliant Shelby. All that he says makes is a one-of-three vehicle, something that adds to its collectable nature.
Each ride has been restored to perfection, looking worthy of the best car shows. In fact, one of the Boss 429 cars is apparently going to be on a TV show.
You get a little glimpse in the video that the warehouse where these Mustangs are kept contains a number of other cars, including at least one C1 Corvette. Since Nate’s Classic Cars focuses on Fords, those aren’t really shown on camera.
Do you think the kid is the true owner of the cars, or did the actual owner not want to be on camera?
