We’ve seen our fair share of gearhead mansions listed for sale all over the country and world, but this one in California’s desert is one of the most impressive yet. Located in Winterhaven, that’s just over the Arizona border by Yuma, the mansion and its 401 acres contains a half-mile dragstrip, runways, and even some vehicles included in the deal.
Ken Lingenfelter is serving on the National Corvette Museum Board.
If you look at the listing on Zillow, it specifies that the main house, which is 8,144 square feet, has an attached three-car garage. There’s also a 1,223 square foot casita and another garage with 2,034 square feet of space to shove all your wonderful toys.
To get your started, there are ten Polaris RZR RS1s included in that larger garage. But wait, there’s more.
Yet another building, what’s called a “private bungalow” in the listing, has one bedroom and bath plus a 2,432 square foot garage that’s already stocked with Polaris RZRs, quads and riding gear all sized right for kids.

As if that’s not sufficient vehicle storage, there’s a standalone 7,115 square foot garage with an attached 3,461 square foot covered carport. That structure comes with 13 “high performance sand cars” as part of the transaction.
We’re not even done yet. A standalone shop for working on all your rides, which is 7,200 square feet, is also on the property. So is a 3,240 square foot “man cave,” a 4,800 square foot hangar, and a 13,700 square foot container building.
More vehicles are also included in the sale: a number of tractors, water trucks, Kubota utility vehicles, Kawasaki Mules, etc. Plus the property allows direct access to the Glamis dunes, so your sand rails will get plenty of use.
There is also a “caretaker’s home” on the property that has a carport, in case you need more vehicle storage space. And the land contains multiple runways, perfect for the flying enthusiast.
While you might be thinking this sounds too good to be true, keep in mind the property is listed for a cool $15 million. Zillow estimates your monthly payment will only be about $95,000. That’s monthly, not annual.
Anyone who can afford to finance this can also afford quite the array of toys. This property could be several killer Vrbo properties, if you want to try making some of that cash back. Companies could buy it and use the place for employees to take vacations or retreats. The possibilities are endless.
