For quite a few enthusiasts, a dream ride is an R34 GT-R, which must be how this little shop in Dubai is doing so well. Called Kanzen Motorsports, it modifies and restores not only R34s but R32s, R33s, and R35s as well as other JDM performance rides.
Buy the R34 wagon of your dreams.
Kanzen is a mechanical shop, not a body shop, so owners send their JDM cars from around the world there to have power-boosting and other performance-enhancing modifications installed.

When it comes to modifications, the owner tells YouTuber and automotive photographer Larry Chen the preference is to source new parts from the NISMO Heritage Parts program.
When that isn’t an option, because not every component is available that way, the shop will clean up, then powder coat the originals. The result is an incredibly clean car that honestly looks better than when it first rolled out of the factory.
For those wanting a body kit installed or other cosmetic modifications as well, Kanzen does outsource that work, monitoring progress from its partner body shops.
Considering Kanzen is situated in a city well-known for its crazy number of supercars and hypercars, it might seem odd for it to focus on JDMs. After all, while there is a following, the perception is there isn’t as much money to be made on them versus working on more exotic European rides.
But the shop seems to be doing well enough, thanks to its global reputation for quality work, which is only growing with time.
This shows that the JDM enthusiasm has spread well beyond Japan. People who are into that automotive subculture have been well aware of this trend for a while now, but for enthusiasts more focused on American muscle, European supercars, or other niches that might comes as a surprise.
If you’re a JDM fan and in particular love Godzillas, this tour of Kanzen by Larry Chen is going to wow and inspire you, so check it out.
