Taraj Ramsess, a 41-year-old stuntman who worked on big Marvel movies like Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, was killed in a Georgia car crash along with some of his children. It’s a tragic situation that leaves the man’s family and friends mourning the sudden loss.
Slash’s old 1966 Corvette is up for grabs.
Ramsess was driving his pickup on the interstate in DeKalb County on the night of Halloween when tragedy struck. As reported by WSB, the pickup and a semi-truck collided on an off-ramp, badly mangling the vehicle the father and children were inside.
At the scene of the accident Taraj, his 13-year-old daughter Sundari, and his 1-month-old daughter Fugibo were all pronounced dead. His two other children had been flung free of the truck, leaving his 10-year-old son Kisasi in critical condition and his 3-year-old hospitalized. Sadly, the 10-year-old later died at the hospital.
It sounds like not many details of exactly how the crash unfolded are known at this time. An investigation is ongoing, so details will likely be released once a conclusion is reached by investigators.
This tragedy serves as a reminder to everyone to stay alert and be extra cautious when around commercial trucks. We don’t know what caused this crash and being alert is no guarantee of safety, but we do know everyone needs to be aware the blind spot on semis and other big trucks are much larger.
Even if you’re in the right, if a commercial truck cuts you off, etc. it’s best to back off and give it room. Being right won’t keep you from smashing into a vehicle which weighs perhaps 40 times more than yours. You will never win in that situation.
A Go Fund Me campaign has been set up for Ramsess and his children which you can see here.
