One of the biggest gearheads in Hollywood, Jay Leno keeps getting into accidents lately. After his latest incident, he was spotted in public wearing an eyepatch with bruising on the same side of his face. It’s like the guy just can’t catch a break these days.

A TMZ reporter approached Leno and asked how he was doing, a question which at first seemed to cause the comedian to bristle a little. However, the reporter continued his line of questioning respectfully and that’s when the celebrity divulged how he injured his eye and face.
Apparently, he was staying at a hotel that was situated on a hill and he was looking for a good place to eat dinner. After getting a recommendation from the staff, Leno proceeded to walk down the hill since he didn’t have a car and the way to walk on the side of the road was a mile and a half each way.
The problem was while the hill didn’t look all that steep, it was in fact too steep for Leno to handle. He toppled down, hitting his face on a rock in the process. So his latest accident and injury didn’t even involve a vehicle.
Leno even showed his swollen eye which he’s been keeping hidden under the patch, we guess to prove he still has it? He’s a funny guy, quite literally.
In the recent past Leno suffered burns while working on one of his classic cars when fuel sprayed out and then ignited. Not too long after that, the man ran into a wire while riding his motorcycle, injuring himself again.
We just hope the man stays free from injury for a while. And perhaps he should just Uber to restaurants instead of walking in the future.
