Actor, model, and TV personality Jax Taylor reportedly was in a fender bender recently, but allegedly took off from the scene of the accident. The other driver and his girlfriend are also reportedly looking to hold Taylor accountable for his actions, including the damage he caused to their car.

It’s obvious 2024 hasn’t been Taylor’s year, so this is adding to the man’s woes. What happened, according to TMZ, was that the celebrity in his Chevy Silverado ran into the back of a Subaru WRX while the two vehicles were stopped at a red light in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Valley Village.
Instead of staying and exchanging insurance info as well as calling the police, Taylor allegedly took off after seeing the damage to the other vehicle wasn’t severe and nobody was injured. According to the celebrity’s attorney, the other driver was “enraged” and that’s apparently why he didn’t stick around.
We know from personal experience how unhinged some people can behave when there’s a fender bender. With all the fatal road rage cases out there, it’s understandable why Taylor would be jittery. The report indicates the other driver chased Taylor to a nearby gas station where the two spoke more calmly, assessed any damage, and exchanged info.
But it also sounds like the other driver is intent on pursuing some potential charges with police. While no police report had been filed, the girlfriend allegedly said that’s the plan. What the ultimate goal is of the couple isn’t clear, but TMZ noted photos of the damage to the Subaru appeared to be minimal.
All that said, we wouldn’t advise anyone close to us to take off from the scene of a car crash, unless of course there was an imminent threat of harm. We’ll see if this case involving Jax Taylor goes away or becomes a bigger deal, although we’re not entirely sure how it could at this point.
