We present to you yet another motorcycle rider, this one on a Honda Shadow, running from an Arkansas trooper and finding out they actually suck at riding. This guy is able to take a not-great situation and turn it into serious bodily pain, damage to his bike, and criminal charges.
Here’s another bad rider who runs from cops and finds out.
It’s amazing how many people with expired plates also speed, calling attention to themselves on the road. One would think if you have plates that were last valid over two years ago you’d drive carefully, staying at or under the speed limit so you avoid running into police.
Maybe this guy just figured if a cop tried pulling him over for speeding and/or the expired tags he would be able to ditch the fuzz. That’s what he tries in the dashcam footage, but boy you better bring your A-game when tangling with Arkansas State Police.
From the looks of things, this rider doesn’t even have an A-game. Just going through a sweeping turn after getting off the highway, he can’t balance the bike well, the back tire getting squirrely as the rest of the bike wobbles some.
Rather than realize he’s well beyond his rather limited skill set, the guy pushes his Honda Shadow, jumping a curb and riding across a grassy median. It’s a miracle the chase doesn’t end right then and there.
He pushes on, wobbling the motorcycle through other turns, clearly not knowing how to ride worth much in a regular situation and way out of his depth in a chase with an Arkansas trooper.
If the guy were honest with himself, he would’ve realized he had no real chance of getting away while playing with the very real risk of serious bodily injury. But his relative success seems to go to his head, so he tries jumping another curb to cut across a median again, only he hits this one at the wrong angle and just wrecks out into a mess on the road.
Of course, this guy wasn’t even wearing a helmet, but we’re not entirely sure there was much in the way of gray matter to protect up there anyway. Be smarter than this rider and just pull over for cops.
