They say justice in places like Georgia can be different, but that apparently entails troopers running over a meth trafficker. While not intentional, we think, the shocking footage of the suspect fleeing on his Suzuki Hayabusa only for a Georgia State Patrol cruiser to roll right over him.
Watch Arkansas troopers play a dirty trick on a fleeing motorcyclist.
Some will call this justified, others will think the guy should get worse, but we still think it was a mistake from the reaction troopers gave at the time.
First off, this alleged meth trafficker seems to not understand the capabilities of his spork bike. Or maybe he’s scared to really open up the throttle and get to those speed where becoming street pizza, even with a helmet on, is likely.
After all, the guy is wearing regular pants and tennis shoes, so those things would disintegrate in a high-speed slide. Or it might just be that he’s an amateur rider – you decide.
Either way, eventually troopers box this guy in on three sides, as he travels down the left lane of the highway. Usually what they do in these situations is all slow down gradually, forcing the suspect to slow down as well, then stop and tackled the guy off his bike.
Only, it doesn’t go so smoothly. Realizing he’s trapped, the alleged drug runner tries shooting through a gap between two cruisers only to back off after realizing he won’t fit. Back in the box, he suddenly loses his balance and falls – that’s what makes us think maybe he’s just an amateur.
Clearly, the troopers weren’t anticipating this. Looking at the footage closely, you can tell one of the cruisers’ tires rolls right over the rider. Obviously it wasn’t bad enough to seriously injure the guy, but that couldn’t have felt good.
Considering our suspect was allegedly carrying 829 grams of meth at the time, some will say he deserved more than he got. We’ll let you decide on that one.
