For many, Chip Foose is an automotive design legend, so they would gladly become the new owner of this limited edition 1969 Camaro by Foose. Created by Foose and Unique Performance, the process of creating this classic muscle car was documented on the TV show Rides, so it’s already quite famous.

It’s estimated each of the 1969 Camaros had about $200,000 invested in them. That doesn’t necessarily mean the muscle car associated with a bonafide celebrity is worth that much now, although it could be worth more. That also could help dictate reserve set by the seller.
What you see in the photos is a Hot Hues Orange paint on the exterior with Pewter accents, which looks great on the Chevy. There’s also a custom front grille styled to look somewhat like that found on the RS and 18-inch polished Foose wheels.
Under the hood is a 572ci V8 producing 620-horsepower. That’s not a thunderous amount these days, but back in 2005 when these cars were unveiled it was. There’s also a 9-inch Positraction diff and Wilwood brakes with drilled/slotted rotors.
As you might expect, the interior has also been customized and upgraded. The sorts seats and door panels are graced by soft leather and the driver enjoys a LaCarra steering wheel and Auto Meter signature gauges. An Old Air Products Hurricane system provides the comfort of AC, so you can enjoy cruising around in this classic during the dead heat of summer. Plus, there’s a four-point roll bar installed.
This build won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but like we said Foose is popular and quite a few people are going to remember this from Rides back in the day. That right there could positively impact bidding quite a bit when this 1969 Camaro crosses the block during the Mecum Auctions Glendale 2025 event.
