It’s great to see someone has thoroughly enjoyed driving this Ferrari F50, but the result is the supercar has become dirty and suffered some cosmetic damage. That’s just the reality of driving a vehicle, even gently, which we suppose is why some put rides like this in a preservation bubble. We’d rather see this F50 driven, then go through a thorough detailing to restore its former glory.

And that’s exactly what we get in the included video. A professional detailing shop goes to town on the F50, putting it through one of the most thorough detailing jobs we’ve ever seen performed on one.
While the Ferrari F40 gets plenty of attention, and understandably so, the F50 constituted a giant leap forward for supercars from Maranello. Ditching the V8, Ferrari went with a screaming naturally aspirated V12. Pininfarina designed the aerodynamic, svelte bodywork which was a huge departure from previous Ferrari models, marking a new direction for the brand.
Fans of the F50, and there are plenty of them, will be delighted to see all kinds of nooks and crannies they wouldn’t normally get to explore, all through this detailing video. After all, it starts with the Ferrari on a lift and the undercarriage getting cleaned up.
You even get to see the F50 with the seats out as the detailers clean literally everywhere. They even replace the seat trim.
Of course, the detailing includes a good washing and paint correction, leaving that iconic Rosso Corsa looking dazzling as ever. The same goes for all those carbon-fiber parts, including in the interior and engine compartment, with the finish getting scratched and dull over time, something a good polishing reverses to perfection.
