Love and cars, especially ones tuned by Hennessey Performance in Texas, just go hand-in-hand. Sure, some of the normies out there will say that isn’t true, but so many love songs feature something about a vehicle. Same with romantic movies. It’s only fitting then that a couple found love while picking up their tuned Cadillac Escalade from Hennessey recently.

The Texas shop documented the man proposing to his girlfriend while they were picking up a 1,000-horsepower Cadillac Escalade V. She thought they were just there for the cool, fast luxury SUV. He knew there was an ulterior motive.
Apparently, the couple are repeat customers, so coming to pick up yet another Hennessey-tuned ride wasn’t all that unusual. But, when the guy got down on one kneed and produced the little jewelry box, everything changed.
Thankfully she said yes, even though afterwards she said she was “quite literally speechless.” He took her breath away, just like any good performance ride does to the driver the first time they get behind the wheel.
Hennessey employees were on hand to celebrate the successful proposal, the couple beaming as they walked inside the showroom to applause.
Something tells us this isn’t the last time the couple will be visiting Hennessey Performance for a vehicle. After all, they have even more great memories tied to the place, so they might want to swing by for an anniversary or two and reminisce about how it all started.
It’s a good thing they went with the Escalade instead of something smaller. After all, fitting car seats, a stroller, and such in one of those is going to be much easier. Plus, they’ll look a lot cooler pulling up to soccer practice in a few years. Their kids are going to be serious speed junkies before too long.
