A 1968 Dodge Power Wagon is a cool truck, for sure, but nobody in their right mind would call it fast. One shop has found a way to fix that and then some, dropping a modern Hellcrate Redeye engine into the classic pickup, along with a bunch of other upgrades. The result is incredible.

Built by Rock Bottom Offroad on behalf of Mickey Thompson Tires for the SEMA Show, the result is extreme, ridiculous, and something we’d love to put in our garage (assuming it would even fit). But what’s even more impressive is the shop built this truck in just 36 days.
Everything about the Power Wagon is modified, save the actual body. The frame is custom-made, so are the bumpers and quite a few other components Even the badges are 3D printed. Plus, the suspension is incredibly beefy, so even though this is a beautiful build, it would be quite capable in rugged off-road areas. In fact, wheel travel in the front and rear exceeds 30 inches.
But with a price tag of over $300,000 you would either have to have sick amounts of money or just no sense to beat on this thing. Well, you’d have to have a lot of cash just to buy it, so maybe both.
Of course, one of the challenges many face with putting a Hellcat or Redeye engine into anything that isn’t a modern Challenger or Charger is fitment. But the Power Wagon has so much room under the hood, it fits no problem. They bolted a TRX transmission up to it, which makes sense for a truck build like this.
Like a trophy truck, it has two spare tires ratchet-strapped into the bed, plus no tailgate. As a result, for those who know, this Dodge looks ready to rumble. And you can see in the video from Autotopia LA it it’s just a bunch of show, this Power Wagon really scoots.
